Tobias Lohner was a 17th-century Jesuit from Austria who is best known for his series of books Instructional Practices in which he gives instructions various aspects of Jesuit theology and doctrine. This 1734 book includes Lohner’s instruction on the canonical hours and the sacraments. It includes numerous pages of Latin chant in music notation.
