The Book of Common Prayer – Church of England – 1722 | John Baskett Holy Bible

In 1712, John Baskett began printing The Book of Common Prayer, shortly after the success of the 1710 New Testament. Baskett was the printer to the king during the first half of the 18th-century. This 1722 edition includes not only the Book of Common Prayer but the entire Baskett Holy Bible, Psalms, and liturgical calendar. Beautifully bound in dark Morocco leather, tooled with gilt on the front and back cover.
