Giovanne de Rosselli’s “Epulario” is a rare 17th-century cookbook better known in English as “The Italian Banquet Wherein”. This book deals with preparing high end meals with various types of meats, fowl, and fish. It also includes recipes on how to make appetizers, sauces, cakes, pies, and pastries from all over the world.
This early cookbook is bound with a rare and rather unknown 19th-century book – “Art of Preserving and Refrigerating” by an anonymous author.
This tome is beautifully bound in modern leather with gilt spine and cover trim.
