Wahreste und neueste Abbildung des Türckischen Hofes by Charles Ferriol is a German translation of the famed 18th-century survey of Ottoman ceremonial dress and costume. Published in Nuremberg in 1719 and 1721, this work features more than 100 engravings by Jacques le Hay depicting scenes of Turks, Armenians, Jews, and Greeks in official rank, role, and ethnicity. This volume includes the 1721 continuation, all bound in one volume.

Condition:
