Published in 1814-15; this set describes Christopher Columbus in the Caribbean, Cortes in Mexico, Vasco da Gama in India; Francis Drake at the Strait of Magellan, and Bruce’s discovery of the source of the Nile River. It also includes accounts of China, Persia, Peru, and the Holy Land.
