Image Gallery Description & Details

Vita D. Martini Lutheri Et Successuum Evangelicae Reformationis Historia Nummi is a fascinating 1699 survey of the life of Martin Luther by Christian Juncker. Juncker, a Saxon historian, had a profound interest in both numismatics and the Protestant Reformation and decided to produce a book that covered both. This book describes the life of Luther through medals and coins. In fact, this book has dozens of full-page engravings including portraits and seemingly countless engraved coins throughout.
