In 1621, Böhme wrote his most important book De Signatura Rerum, his approach to the Doctrine of Signatures. Following the success of this, his most important work, Böhme wrote numerous other works of “Theosophia”, or works of divine wisdom.
This volume of Quaestiones Theosophicae, published in 1730, includes Böhme’s writings and questions examining God, nature, and creation in relation to heaven, hell, and the world. His visionary and symbolic approach shaped later mystical and philosophical traditions.
