Thomas Gale was a 17th-century English scholar whose fame comes primarily from his works on Greco-Roman mythology and the history of England. One of his better-known works was Opuscula Mythologica; a collection of Greek and Latin poems and writings on classical mythology. Thomas Gale’s works were popular throughout the western world and, notably, were a part of Thomas Jefferson’s library, including Opuscula Mythologica.

Condition:

Very Good. The leather boards show moderate rubbing, especially at the edges. Gilt remains visible on the spine. Binding is secure. The interior is complete and legible throughout, with mild age-related toning.
