This timeless classic was first published in 1899 and reissued under various titles including The New Wizard of Oz in 1903 by Bobbs-Merrill. While this book is dated 1903, it is a reissue of the first edition printing and considered rare. It contains 15 full-page plates by Denslow, eight of which are in full color.

Condition:

Good. Original pictorial cloth binding remains secure with mild edgewear, intact hinges, and no major structural defects. Text block is complete and intact, if slightly loose. The pages are age-toned and occasionally foxed, with some browning throughout. Wanting one color illustration.
