The Principal Navigations, Voyages, Traffiques & Discoveries of the English Nation by Richard Hakluyt was a 16^th-century history of the voyages of English navigators. This work was a landmark work of navigation history focusing important voyagers such as John Cabot, Humphrey Gilbert, Sir Francis Drake, John Hawkins, Thomas Cavendish, Roanoke expedition by Amadas & Barlowe, and even early voyages to Florida by Jean Ribault.
