A first UK edition printing of the famous Mark Twain novel, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. This story follows a Yankee engineer from Connecticut who is accidentally transported back in time to the court of King Arthur, where he fools the inhabitants of that time into thinking he is a magician!
This edition features a slightly altered title from the original American edition, A Yankee in the Court of King Arthur. This work was also the first Twain novel to feature the artwork of Dan Beard.
