Jean Paul Rabaut’s history of the French Revolution was printed in 1792, during the heart of the conflicts in Paris. Rabaut discusses the reasons for many of the revolts but also the details of the conflicts. There is an entire section devoted to the Storming of the Bastille. Rabaut would later write an entire set describing the full events and repercussions of the French Revolution.

 

This particular edition was published in 1794 in London, a beautiful two-volume English edition.
