In 1773, the works of Franklin were published (in French) for the first time. It was, at the time of publishing, the most complete early edition of Franklin’s works of science, not just in French, but in any language. It included impressive illustrations depicting his science and social experiments. These works include studies on electricity and magnetism, art of swimming, meteors and astronomical wonders, medicines for common diseases, and much more.
