“It was Pierre-François Doublet who printed in Caen, in 1705, this counterfeit in-4; itself became quite rare. The family of Charles de Bourgueville, after his death and for reasons which it is today rather difficult to know destroyed a great number of copies of his work; so that years later it would become an extreme rarity”.
