        • David Bosanquet (1699-1741) was a Huguenot merchant and trader, and a member of the successful Bosanquet banking family. He was also a noted antiquary and collector. His son, Richard Bosanquet, was a director for the East India Company and an agent for Thomas Walpole MP. Both were related to Samuel Bosanquet (1744–1806), a Director of the Bank of England; and Samuel Richard Bosanquet (1800–1882) an English barrister, known as a writer on legal, social and theological topics.
