French author and historian Michel Rousseau de Valette wrote a 17^th-century account of the reign of Casimir IV – a history that has proved to be one of the best and most thorough on the second half of 15^th-century Poland.

 

This first tome from the 1679 edition was published in Paris by Barbin.
