Jeremy Taylor was a 17^th-century English Anglican cleric known for his various discourses and Biblical essays. His sermons were popular with other Royalists, many of which led to his arrest and imprisonment in 1645. Nearly 50 of these sermons were published in the 1650s and were reprinted numerous times throughout the rest of the 17^th-century, including this enormous 1678 folio.
