Curtius Rufus is primarily remembered for his commentary on the life of Alexander the Great, perhaps the best early account of Alexander the Great’s reign. In addition to Curtius, this two-volume lot includes the works on the Catiline Conspiracy of Sallust with commentary by numerous contributions such as Johann Rivius, Janus Palmerius, and perhaps most famously Aldus Manutius.
