Gisbert ab Isendoorn was a Dutch scholar who was known for his contributions to Aristotelian philosophy in early 17^th-century Netherlands. He studied and taught in Harderwijk publishing several works including his most famous treatise “Medulla Physica” – a work based on Aristotle’s famous “Physicorum” written through a series of theorems and questions. Isendoorn focuses primarily on Aristotle’s “Sensibus et Sensibus”, the section on human senses.
