Italian Jesuit Paolo Morigia’s “History of the Origin of All Religions” is a fine 16^th-century history of the world’s religions. Morigia was the Jesuit Superior of the Clerics of San Girolamo who wrote numerous historical and ecclesiastical works, most importantly was his history of Milan. Still, his ‘Tutte le Religioni’ proved to be an invaluable resource on the development and growth of organized religious from a Jesuit perspective with emphasis on the papacy and world emperors.
