A Treatise of Morall Philosophie by William Baldwin is a 16th-century book of ethical maxims, anecdotes, and essays drawn from earliest philosopher of antiquity. Prominent figures include Socrates, Pythagoras, Plutarch, Alexander the Great, Marcus Aurelius, and Saint Ambrose. A section is also devoted to theological themes involving God, faith, and divine mercy. Other segments examine vice, virtue, death, and the conduct of rulers.

This example is incomplete with numerous leaves lacking and loss of text, though the original gilt-border binding is retained.
