Near Fine. Bound in green calf with five raised bands and compartments gilt tooled, this period French quarter binding retains its original marbled boards and endpapers. Light rubbing to extremities. Internally clean and complete, with all illustrations intact, including an author’s portrait. The paper has toned naturally at the edges, with no significant defects or annotations. The type remains crisp and legible throughout, securely bound.
