This rare 1680 Biblia Sacra was published in Lyon under the papal direction of Pope Sixtus V. The large tome includes an allegorical engraved title page and prefatory material from Clement VIII. It also includes the Tridentine decree on canonical books, the Apocrypha, and Saint Jerome’s prologues.
