Martin Luther’s Biblia, das ist : Die gantze Heilige Schrifft have always maintained their popularity throughout German and non-German speaking areas. This 1756 edition includes full-page copper engravings of Bible scenes and characters; illustrations not found in other Luther Bibles.
This enormous tome was published in Leipzig and Regensburg and is notable for featuring, not only the Old and New Testaments, but a printing of the Augsburg Confession at the end.
