Printed by Aldine, this edition includes Pontano’s pastoral and personal works including Amorum, De Amore conjugali, Tumuli, Eridanus, and others such as Magica ad de pellendum. It is rare to find works from this era to be complete. This example is not only complete but in great condition, complete with gold-gilt edges to pages. It includes the commentary of Pietro Summonte

Condition:

Very Good. Binding secure and intact with period full leather showing mild rubbing at edges and corners. Gilt page edges remain bright; front cover features gilt anchor emblem. Text block complete and tight, with clean pages exhibiting minimal toning and no significant foxing. Title page shows the iconic Aldine anchor device clearly.
