Miguel de Cervantes’s ‘Don Quixote’ is one of the most famous works of literature and is one of the most popular adventure tales to be written. This 1773 printing features François Filleau de Saint-Martin’s French translation and is iconic for its full-page engravings depicting scenes from the famous story. Saint-Martin’s edition was first published in 1678 who modified the original ending by making Don Quixote live at the end!

Condition:
Very Good. Period leather shows moderate rubbing at corners and lower edges. Gilt titles remain legible. Bindings hold firm across all volumes. Text is complete, plates are crisp and well-preserved with no staining or offsetting observed.
