Aesop’s Fables 1912 Rackham edition is a signed, numbered first edition limited to 1450 copies, printed for British, Irish, American, and Australian audiences. This is copy number 593, signed in ink by Arthur Rackham. Published by William Heinemann and Doubleday, Page & Co., the volume features 65 illustrations, including 13 mounted color plates. The translation is by V.S. Vernon Jones, with an introduction by G.K. Chesterton.

Condition:

Bound in full white cloth with gilt decoration to front board and spine. The book retains its original endpapers and uncut edges. Internally, the pages are clean with moderate foxing to prelims and limitation leaf. All illustrations are present; tissue guards are intact. Binding remains firm and square.
