Image Gallery Description & Details

The 1542 Divi Gregorii Opera Guillard edition contains the full Latin works of Pope Gregory I, also known as Gregory the Great, issued in two huge folio volumes by Carolae Guillard in Paris. This edition was produced using earlier manuscript exemplars and adjusted against previous printed texts. The printed title announces an expanded subject index and a separate index of biblical references that had not been integrated into earlier printings.
