Missale Sagiense, 1742 Paris folio, is a Catholic missal with chant notation, red and black printing, and engraved decoration.
A rare 17th-century Roman Catholic Missal published in Lyon. This impressive edition includes large type font and is filled with liturgical chant with black and red inks throughout. In addition to the liturgy, this volume contains a variety of beautiful full-page engravings and decorative initials. Missale Sagiense was issued in Paris for use within the Sées diocese under Ludovicus Franciscus Neel de Christot. This edition contains the liturgical texts of the Mass along with extensive chant notation printed in red and black ink.
