1714 – Works of Joseph Hall – Bishop of Norwich | Catholic v Protestant

Joseph Hall was a 17th-century English Bishop of Norwich who was known for his works of satire and philosophical moralism. He published devotionals, political commentary, church controversies, and even dystopian fantasy satire criticizing the Catholic Church. Much of his work was rooted in anti-Protestant separatists but also in favor of the Church of England, being critical of both sides of church politics.

This 1714 printing of the works of Joseph Hall was published in London by Thomas Hodgkin.
