1771 – Practice of Piety – Lewis Bayly | Puter Romansh, Anglican Devotional

First written in the early 1600s, Anglican Lewis Bayly’s Practice of Piety quickly became one of the most widely-read devotionals and was even known to have been the catalyst in changing the lives of John Bunyan and his wife. It includes structured meditations and prayers, scripture passages, and hymns.

This 1771 edition was translated into the Upper Engadine dialect of Romansh (Puter) by Lurainz Wietzel.
