Image Gallery Description & Details

Dracula by Bram Stoker stands undisputably as the most recognizable novel in Gothic vampire fiction. The story is apostolic, being told through letters, diaries, and telegrams as the narrative travels from the mountains of Transylvania to England and back again. Stoker collected hundreds of pages of research notes while writing the tale, blending folktale and myth with history, to the point that some critics of the time deemed it to be too terrifying for public enjoyment. However, the book has become a fixture of the horror genre, with figures such as Professor Van Helsing and Count Dracula being portrayed in hundreds of adaptations and retellings.
