The “Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit” is a famous collection of sermons preached by the esteemed 19^th-century pastor, Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Initially published within weekly “Penny Pulpit” printings during 1854, Spurgeon’s sermons quickly gained immense popularity, leading to his partnership with friends and publishers Joseph Passmore and James Alabaster. This collaboration resulted in an annual compilation of his sermons, known as the “New Park Street Pulpit” for the first six years of its publication. The series would then later evolve alongside the church’s growth into what was aptly titled, the “Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit” producing another 57 volumes! In its entirety, the collection was enormous, containing a total of 3,561 sermons spanning 63 volumes!
