Jakob Böhme was an early 17th-century German philosopher known for his theology which was a fusion of Lutheran traditions and mysticism. In 1621, Böhme wrote his most important book De Signatura Rerum, his approach to the Doctrine of Signatures. Following the success of this, his most important work, Böhme wrote numerous other works of “Theosophia”, or works on divine wisdom.
This volume of Theosophia revelata, published in 1730, includes Böhme’s writings on the nature of God, creation, the fall of Lucifer, and his mystical theology.
