Lewis Carroll’s landmark masterpiece, ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,’ was first published in 1865. This fascinating fantasy tale of a young girl falling down a rabbit hole, is surely one of the most iconic pieces of literature for all time. It has been adapted into many different versions of film, most notably by Disney in 1951.

In 1907, the original copyright of ‘Alice’ expired and was able to be reprinted and re-illustrated of which, “Arthur Rackham’s illustrated version has persisted as one of the most visually iconic.” (Smithsonian).  Arthur Rackham illustrated 13 original color drawings which are included in this edition.

This edition includes the expected ‘proem’ by Austin Dobson (spelling variant expected on title page).
