It is often known in English as the Arabian Nights and introduces some of the most well-known characters of literature including Aladdin, Ali Baba, and Sinbad the Sailor.
This late 19th-century edition was translated by John Payne into English who included “editions not occurring in other printed texts of the work”. According to the title, in included the Breslau and Calcutta stories that were not in different printings. This three-volume set was published in 1884 London. This limited edition is numbered no. 278 of 500.
