First printed in 1635, this 1865 issue is a ‘reissue of the third publication on Maryland’ (Howes). This work includes descriptions of Lord Baltemore’s Plantation, colonists living among Native American Indians, a description of the landscape before the establishment of towns, tobacco crop production, and customs of Indians and Englishmen in conflict.
