This 1840 printing is a first edition of Massie’s account of India. Massie describes landscapes- waterfalls, Ganges river, and Himalayan mountains- The Punjab, Indian sultans, differences in Buddhist and Hindu doctrines, effects of idolatry, and famines and floods.
