    • Likely William Lithgow Jr. (1750-1796), a major in the 11^th Massachusetts during the American Revolutionary War. He was wounded during the Battle of Ticonderoga, which prompted him to resign. He was later appointed by George Washington to be the U.S. attorney for the district of Maine. He was also the son of William Lithgow (1715-1798), a justice of the peace and judge for the court of Common Pleas in Lincoln County.
