This work is a collection of Agreda’s own mystical visions which cover the birth of the virgin Mary, the birth incarnation of Jesus, and the life and ministry of Jesus. This book is one of the curious cases of banned books in which the Catholic Church recanted its placement on the Index Librorum Prohibitorum in 1681.
This 1762 Spanish edition was published in Madrid in eight volumes.
