Gian Vittorio Rossi was a 17th-century Italian poet and author who is best remembered for his landmark work ‘Pinacotheca’. ‘Pinacotheca Imaginum Illustrium’ is a collection of three hundred short biographical sketches of other authors and notable figures with whom Rossi was familiar.
