    • Armorial Bookplate – Constantine Phipps of the Middle Temple Esq. 1703
      • Sir Constantine Henry Phipps (1656–1723) was an English-born lawyer who held the office of Lord Chancellor of Ireland. His term of office was marked by bitter political faction-fighting and he faced repeated calls for his removal.
      • His descendants held the titles Earl of Mulgrave and Marquess of Normanby.
      • Notably his great grandson was Constantine John Phipps, 2nd Baron Mulgrave PC (177-1792) who was an esteemed English explorer, officer in the Royal Navy, and politician.
      • Sir William Phipps, the Governor of Massachusetts 1692-94, was his cousin.
    • Bookplate – Tervoe. “Mone sale”
      • Plate belongs to the Monsell family of Tervoe.
      • Most likely this plate was that of Gaston Thomas William Monsell, 2nd Baron Emly of Tervoe (1858-1932).
