Francis of Paola was a 15^th-century friar and founder of the Order of Minims. He is remembered for his many miracles, many of which were written about in Antoine Donde’s “Figures of the Life Death and Miracles of Saint Francis of Paola”. This 1671 edition of Donde’s book contains numerous full-page engravings depicting different scenes from Francis of Paola’s life.
