Nicholas Culpeper was a 17^th-century English herbalist and physician known for his principal work ‘Complete Herbal’, or “The English Physician”. Following Culpeper’s successes, a curious, short pamphlet of Culpeper’s life was published praising and seemingly defending him against his critics. It is unknown who actually wrote this work, whether it be Culpeper, his wife, or the publisher Peter Cole, but this book defends Culpeper and the readers of his works.
