Pierre Gregoire was a 16^th-century French philosopher who, without question, is best remembered for his high controversial book ‘Syntaxes Artis Mirabilis’. This book was written as a thesaurus of mathematics and astrology studies as well as qualities of God; however, Gregoire included an abundance of information on magic and demonology. Because of this, it was placed on the Index of Prohibited Books.
